How to Find Your Greatness (Inspired by Barbara DeAngelis)
Barbara DeAngelis woke us up with her passion and openness at the Seminar of the Century.
She reminded us that happiness is not something acquired, rather it’s a skill. And we need to wake up now. No more excuses. We need to be and stay awake, and to remember and understand why we are here on this planet Earth. We need to find our greatness that we have forgotten.
Do you feel there is something missing in your life?
Do you feel there is something wrong and you are not sure what it is?
Do you feel uneasy and restless?
Barbara called this feeling “Divine Discomfort.” It’s an indication that you are about to re-born into a new life. The discomfort is a sign that “things” are cooking inside you. J You are being “prepared” to serve in your own unique way.
When you have this feeling, follow these steps:
-
Start the shift immediately and let the truth come out.
-
Stay awake.
-
Rid yourself of all the negative ideas inside you.
-
Throw away whatever is stopping you from being who you are designed to be.
-
Stop pretending.
-
Stop saying “I could never be.”
-
Think about what you can give to people instead of asking what you can get from them.
-
Believe there is nothing missing inside you.
-
Believe you are qualified to serve and fulfill your assignment.
-
Believe there is nothing stopping you from your greatness.
-
Believe that you are powerful.
-
Love yourself.
You can live the life you have always wanted to or you can continue to be miserable. Tell yourself that now is the time to do something you always wanted to do.
What are you waiting for?
Your destiny is waiting for you.
Your dream is waiting for you.
Somebody somewhere is waiting for you.
The world is waiting for you.
And now is the time.
Barbara ended her talk with this quote by Rabindranath Tagoe:
The winds of grace are always blowing. It’s up to you to raise your sails.
Think About This…What is holding you back? How do you usually motivate yourself? What is it that you’ve always wanted to do?
Just Do This…Raise your sail high and wider now. Do something that you’ve always wanted to do. Show your greatness to the world.
