I decided to partner with Architecture For Humanity San Francisco to host the Pangea Day Screening on May 10th, 2008.

What is Pangea Day?

Pangea Day is an unique moment in history – the first global campfire.

This is a program of short films, visionary speakers, and uplifting music. This is an event that will bring together millions of people from all over the world in a unique shared experience.

With the power of film, Pangea Day creates a better understanding of one another and forms a global community striving for a better future. In a world where people are often divided by borders, difference, and conflict, it’s easy to lose sight of what we all have in common.

Pangea Day seeks to overcome that – to help people see themselves in others – through the power of film.

Why am I supporting Pangea Day?

I believe this world can and will become a better place if we all come together and make it happen. Imagine if France sings for the United States.

It can happen. Watch this.

Where are we hosting this? Architecture For Humanity, San Francisco

When: May 10th, 2008 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Sign Up: http://pangea.eventbrite.com/

If you can’t join us in San Francisco, you can still participate by watching this event online or attend another event near you. The program will be broadcast live to the world through the Internet, television, digital cinemas, and mobile phones.

Of course, movies alone can’t change the world. But the people who watch them can, that means you!

Happy Pangea Day! Let’s all come together.
