I am visiting Los Angeles this weekend. While I was enjoying my morning cup of tea at the hotel, I picked up the hotel magazine and couldn’t help but notice the types of advertisers who are on there:

  • Watches from Switzerland
  • Jewelery from Hawaii, France
  • Perfume from Aruba
  • Rum from Jamaica
  • The Olympics (Event)
  • Shopping (.e.g. Macy)
  • Real Estate (e.g. Maryland Eastern Shore… even I am in Los Angeles…)

It is surprising to me that only two advertisers are from the United States.

Could hotel guests possibly be your target audience?

Instead of finding new customers from scratch, is there any location, organization or event could possibly host all your potential customers?
